Bowenwork

Bowenwork is a soft tissue relaxation technique that restores the body's innate ability to heal itself.

Bowenwork was developed in the 1950s by the late Thomas Bowen of Geelog, Australia.

Bowen's approach was to reset the tension in certain muscles and muscle groups by using a unique type of stretch-and-roll through move, then pausing between sets of moves to give the body time to begin its response.

I met a Bowen practitioner at a New Year's party. He told me that Bowen is the only bodywork that effectively addresses head concussion cases. When my friend had a head concussion, I took him to see the Bowen practitioner. After the session, my friend's symptoms were all cleared! Seeing the immediate positive results my friend experienced, motivated me to learn Bowenwork.

From my experiences as a Bowen practitioner, I have seen positive results in:

head concussions, sinus pain, TMJ, migraines, trigeminal neuralgia, sore throat, shoulder pain, asthma, scoliosis, constipation, PMS, low back pain, knee pain, and sciatica.

Many other ailments including soft tissue injuries may be alleviated through Bowenwork.

Bowenwork is safe for all ages. For babies, the colic procedure works like a miracle!

Jureichi (柔霊氣)

(Pronounced: JU-ray-kee)

Jureichi is an integrated healing art system based upon the 2,500 year old Taoist secret “Dao-in” (導引) practices. Learning and practicing the internal wisdom of mind-body consciousness, one can achieve a quality of life at their highest potential This in turn leads to longevity and happiness.

Victoria Liu is an extraordinary healer. She invited me to become her student. Victoria taught me Jureichi Dao-in based bodywork. It is very different from bodywork compared to what I learned from massage school. Mind-body conversion allows the body to relax. The mind is then freed and one can access a higher self.
